Here's a list with links of everyone participating in the 'Song Bomb'

Day 1: January 30th, 2010
Anne Heaton

Anne Heaton is known for the infectious energy of her live performances -- “a natural performer [with] a rich, soaring voice” (The Seattle Times), In 2005, she won Soul City Cafe, a national competition of live performances and online voting to choose Jewel’s opener for her West Coast Tour. In addition to Jewel’s tour, Anne also toured as an opening act for Melissa Ferrick and HEM as well as opened for/performed with Jill Sobule, The Pernice Brothers, Jennifer Kimball, Jonatha Brooke, and Edie Carey. She also holds occasional “Performance Bootcamp” workshops to help aspiring performers and songwriters hone their craft, which is where I met her and corralled her into this silliness. Anne released her latest collection of music, "Blazing Red," last March 2009. www.TimmyR.com/AnneHeaton

Day 2: January 31th, 2010
Ryan LaPerle

Drawing comparisons to artists like John Mayer, Jack Johnson and U2, Ryan’s music reflects his passion with a catchy pop sensibility and raw emotional edge. His ability to convey the many facets of love and life make his music truly refreshing. With only an acoustic guitar and his voice, Ryan takes you on an emotional journey that is both profound and inspiring. His 2003 EP “Crashed into Infinity’ was just the beginning for this 27 year old musician. He continues to write and compose music that bares his soul with an honesty that can’t be ignored. In spring of 2009 Ryan spent a two week period posting a cover video every day to youtube. His most recent EP ‘Disguise’ was released in fall of 2009.  www.TimmyR.com/RyanLaPerle

Day 3: February 1st, 2010
Bethel Steele

Bethel Steele is a folk-rock singer-songwriter with a hard driving rhythmic guitar, who has a powerful stage presence and a voice reminiscent of the quality of Joan Armatrading. She's got a genuine feel of unpretentiousness that comes out in her songs, leaving the listener with a warm feel of honesty, soul and comfort. Even her sweet and humble stage banter leaves you feeling that Bethel Steele is the real deal. Her CD “Come Home” was released in June of 2009 and has tinges of a country upbringing, dashes of pop and rock, but is nailed in the folk genre.  www.TimmyR.com/BethelSteele

Day 4: February 2nd, 2010
KC Clifford

K.C. Clifford is a three-time Woody Guthrie Award-winning singer-songwriter from Oklahoma City known for her powerful voice, stage
presence and courageous lyrical style.
Music has always been a guiding force in K.C.’s life, and her talent and love of performing on stage revealed itself at an early age. SThose who have experienced one of K.C.’s live shows know this is where she shines brightest.   Laying bare every bit of strength and insecurity, she sings the songs of her life with grace and ease –and a disarming smile – bringing audiences to laughter and tears often enough she has considered making handkerchiefs a permanent fixture at concerts.
Orchid, her fourth independently produced album, is scheduled for release on March 2
   www.TimmyR.com/KCClifford

Day 5: February 3rd, 2010
Ethan Baird of Pesky J Nixon

Ethan Baird is a pesky fellow. He's a singer songwriter, member of the folk trio Pesky J. Nixon, music composition major, and retired a cappella percussionist. Although mostly he's a mischievous bastard. His performances are fun, funny, thoughtful, compassionate, and immediately intimate.
In the past ten years he has performed at the Lincoln Center, opened up for Pete Seeger, performed for President Bill Clinton, sold out Club Passim and done his best to entertain the heck out of everyone he comes across up and down the east coast.
February is a marked challenge as Ethan plans to complete 14 songs in 28 days all while documenting it on his blog, 14in28.blogspot.com as a fundraiser for Pesky J. Nixon's forthcoming unnamed album (currently codenamed "Nuts").
www.TimmyR.com/EthanBaird

Day 6: February 4th, 2010
Jess Yoakum

At the end of 2008, in the midst of an intense economic recession, Jess Yoakum made the risky decision to leave her day job and follow her musical passion. She set out from her hometown of Boston, MA on a 2-month long national house concert and coffeehouse tour. Yoakum's style, described as "Patty Griffin joined forces with the Sundays is indeed best suited to intimate venues and listening rooms. Yoakum's vocals transcend genre while pulling the listener in with uncommon tones and flavors. Lyrically refreshing, she hooks the listener with thoughts and ideas not often found in today's mainstream music."   Jess's next album "This Quiet Mile" is due out at the end of March.
www.TimmyR.com/JessYoakum

Day 7: February 5th, 2010
Ellis

Ellis walks on stage, flashes a bashful grin and does what she does best: singing her heart out every single time. She has a lovely voice, guitar chops and a graceful songwriting style; however, there is something about her live performance that is transformational. The sum is greater than the parts, and she is amazing. In addition to selling more than 40,000 copies of her CDs independently, Ellis has accrued a wealth of accomplishments including national songwriting honors and performances at the Philadelphia Folk Festival, Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, Sisters Folk Festival and the Rocky Mountain Folk Festival. Her Album ‘Break the Spell” was awarded “Best Female Singer-Songwriter Album” in 2009 by Just Plain Folks. She is currently recording her next album “Right on Time” for release in 2010.

Day 8: February 6th, 2010
Anna Maria Tocci

Portland, Maine based songwriter and performer Anna Maria Tocci writes sweet, simple songs and lays them at the feet of her bandmates who jazz them up with phenomenal harmonies and instrumental parts. She joyfully performs with Ramblin' Red, an all female quartet that takes you down original folk roads with old-time twists and bluegrass turns, in funky dance-off shoes. Co-founder and former music director of the well-established folk music venue, The North Star Music Cafe, Anna Maria has recently moved on from that project to pursue a career in breath work, a powerful mind-body-spirit therapeutic process. With this career change, she is also re-discovering her love for songwriting which has lain dormant as she nurtured her dream business. For more information about Anna Maria and Ramblin' Red, you can check out www.TimmyR.com/AnnaMaria

Day 9: February 7th, 2010
Rob Roper

Rob Roper writes songs that could be equally at home in the catalog of either Bob Dylan or Randy Newman. His songs are deceptively simple, often with a wry sense of humor, but that’s all a head fake. He’s setting you up for a twist of phrase that without any fanfare leaves you startled and wounded like a bull that’s charged a red cape. Not to make it sound all serious, he’s just as likely to invite you into his song for a beer and a laugh. Just don’t be surprised when you occasionally find yourself heartbroken on the other side of a good laugh after listening to a Rob Roper song. Rob keeps a blog at http://robroper.blogspot.com/ and his most recent EP "Me" was released in fall 2009.
www.TimmyR.com/RobRoper

Day 10: February 8th, 2010
Mike Himebaugh of Hello Dave

Mike Himebaugh Singer/songwriter of “Hello Dave” rocks audiences across the country, playing an average of 140 shows a year. They were featured on the 2009 Kenny Chesney Sun City Carnival Tour, for which they played the official pre-parties for five of Chesney’s stadium shows. They have also toured with and opened for such bands as Big & Rich, Little Big Town, Pat Green, Van Zant, Blues Traveler, The Doobie Brothers, and they have been regular performers at Festivals like Country Thunder. Hello Dave brings new fans on board with every stop they make, including 3 shows on last winter’s sold-out Lynyrd Skynyrd/Simple Man Cruise. The band has also traveled the world entertaining U.S. troops, including Afghanistan and two trips to Iraq.

Day 11: February 9th, 2010
Justin Roth

Blending intricate guitar work, smooth vocal melodies and a groove, Justin Roth's music takes audiences on a journey, covering ground from intricate solo guitar instrumentals, to gut-busting humor songs, to heartfelt ballads. He’s been compared to the likes of Michael Hedges, David Wilcox, and Willy Porter. Justin tours coast-to-coast, headlining over 130 performances a year at folk venues and festivals while also teaching songwriting and alternate tuning guitar workshops at festivals and schools. His next album is currently being recorded and is scheduled for release in late 2010.
www.TimmyR.com/JustinRoth

Day 12: February 10th, 2010
Kait Berreckman

With her genuine voice and a steady hand, Kait Berreckman shares moments of life that hope and yearn like crazy. She's been compared to a lot of people including Natalie Merchant, Jonatha Brooke, and even Jimmy Buffet. One venue owner described Kait as "a mix between Joni Mitchell and Jewel with adventurous guitar playing, playful lyrics, and powerful vocals." But, according to her mother (and who would know her better?), Kait sounds like Kait. . Recently, she has been a winner in Berkee's Performing Songwriter Showcase, Songwriter's Night, as well as having the incredible opportunity to work with Paul Simon through the school.
www.TimmyR.com/KaitBerrickman

Day 13: February 11th, 2010
 Eric Schwartz

There are perils and perks to growing up listening to Dr. Demento and Dr. Ruth every Sunday night in high school. Eric Schwartz's razor sharp, adults-mostly, on-the-spot wit combined with his exceptional musicality have made him a stand-out performer when appearing on the Comedy Central Stage (in Sit'n Spin); with comedy masters like Jim Norton, Rich Vos, Bobby Slayton and Jim Florentine on "The Bad Boys of Comedy;" at clubs (The Improv, The Comedy Store, The Ice House), on the radio (Howard Stern 100, NPR's All Things Considered, Doctor Demento, and Air America), and on the web, where his edgy, political YouTube videos chalk up millions of hits and garner him illicit proposals from all corners of the globe. www.TimmyR.com/EricSchwartz

Day 14: February 12th, 2010
Diana Korpi

Diana has been working with independent musicians and songwriting instructors for the past 5 years doing publicity, creating press materials, building websites and managing web presence.  With Terri Mazurek of Peppermint Booking, she is the co-founder of Musician's Mom a service dedicated to offering independent musicians practical support and advice.  Working with nationally recognized songwriters like Ellis, Steve Seskin and Pat Pattison, Diana, who has been singing and playing the piano since childhood, has been inspired to write her own songs.  Her music is melodic, whimsical and touching--hilighted by her sweet harmonies that have been honed for years in vocal groups.  Diana will release her first EP in late 2010.   She is also the owner of the handmade jewelry business Halcyon Designs and lives with her husband and their two teenaged kids, in Minneapolis, MN.  Apparently, a mom's work is never done.
http://www.TimmyR.com/DianaKorpi

Day 15: February 13th, 2010
Joe "Krafty" Kowan

Joe Kowan sounds like Jonathan Richmond and Woody Guthrie both had sex with a nasaly voiced woman on the same night and no one really knew who was the father. He has been making audiences laugh and occasionally cringe in the Boston area for years. His songs include titles like “The Stalkers Love Song,” “Double-sided” and “Polly Wally Dizzle” which includes the immortal line “I made a diorama of me getting with your momma” Most recently, Joe released his song “Crafty” to youtube as his alter ego J-Crafty, “the original crafta.”
www.TimmyR.com/JoeKowan

Day 16: February 14th, 2010
Danielle Doyle

Danielle, who seems to be channeling a bit of Gillian Welch and Patty Griffin simultaneously, has been quickly and quietly turning heads at open mics and venues throughout the Boston area. Her songs are about love, home, longing, and a little bit of murder.  They are filled with brilliant imagery and soft-spoken honesty. Make sure to see her live where her beautiful melodies and rich lyrics are interspersed with her quirky, quick-witted banter. She is currently working on her debut EP “The Cartogrpher’s Wife” which is due out in spring of 2010.
www.TimmyR.com/DanielleDoyle

Day 17: February 15th, 2010
Annie Wenz

Annie’s songs are “remarkable both for the lyrical insights she presents as well as for the deliciously eclectic way in which she offers them. Annie sings about our loves, passions & fears, about travel, spirit, & her own experiences such as working as a registered psychiatric nurse, bungee jumping 150 feet off a bridge with her guitar on her back or climbing an erupting volcano in Costa Rica. As a multi-instrumentalist with a love for American & world roots music, & good ol classic Rock, Annie is known for her unique way of blending textures & funky instrumentation.  "Ride" her most recent single was recorded with Grammy award winning producer Ben Wisch and is available at www.CDbaby.com
www.TimmyR.com/AnnieWenz

Day 18: February 16th, 2010
Kim Davidson

Kim Davidson’s entertainment career is as varied as it is long. Over the past 20 years her performance history has included musical theater and dance, film and television work, a cruise ship revue, a variety of cabaret and dinner theater acts, two acoustic duos, one wedding band, and two country bands performing covers. Kim has a penchant for melancholy, love-lorn fare. She balances moody, emotional lyrics against often upbeat melody lines, while her voice lends itself with a range and scope of sound few possess, running the gamut from fragile to sultry to bring-the-house-down & every nuance in between. Her Debut Album “Free Therapy” is set for release in 2010.
http://www.TimmyR.com/KimDavidson

Day 19: February 17th, 2010
  Colorado Rob Clark

Rob Clark has been playing music with bands since he showed up to college with a banjo he’d just finished building. He's explored everything from uptempo rock n roll to Celtic fiddle. The last few years have found Clark writing songs and traveling to give his music a broader horizon. He currently plays with three bands in Colorado, Windfall (eclectic), Steel Pennies (Bluegrass), and the Sizzling Sausage Brothers (country-rock) - though a bit chaotic, he is grateful for the opportunity to get a wider variety of his songs played.  You can hear his song "Kentucky" at http://www.reverbnation.com/steelpennies
www.TimmyR.com/RobClark

Day 20: February 18th, 2010
Robyn Landis

Robyn Landis is a gifted wordsmith and award-winning songwriter. Her deft, incisive, and powerful command of language has garnered repeated comparisons to Richard Shindell and Dar Williams, and a reputation among fellow songwriters as "an astounding lyricist." Respected for her unflinching honesty, intensity and intelligence, Robyn uses song to tackle subjects ranging from war to weather to (what else?) love--not to mention adoption and dementia, betrayal and longing, friendship, child abuse, old sitcoms, and the environment--with unusual depth and literacy. She was a 2009 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Emerging Artists Showcase Selected Artist, and won Grand Prize in the 2009 John Lennon Songwriting Contest (folk category). Her most recent CD “Many Moons” was released in May of 2009.
www.TimmyR.com/RobynLandis

Day 21: February 19th, 2010
Jacqueline Francis

Jacqueline Francis (affectionately known by some as La Petite Jacqueline) is an up-and-coming young figure in both music and literature. Jacqueline is a unique and astonishing multi-faceted talent: A former child prodigy in both music and writing, a singer/songwriter and witty raconteuse, a pixie equipped with experience as a jazz musician in Boston and Pittsburgh, and a Master's degree from New York University's illustrious Graduate Creative Writing Program. Described by her fans, friends, and bandmates as a cross between Amelie and Lucille Ball, Jacqueline is an endearing and refreshing presence in the music world. Her truly rare and outstanding gifts as a vocalist, lyricist, composer and musician vie to outdo each other--with stunning results.
www.TimmyR.com/JacquelineFrancis

Day 22: February 20th, 2010
Rex Strother

Rex has been writing [“terrible” - his word] songs since 1977 and well into the 1980s, with his high school friend Don Foster for Don’s synth pop band, “Dreaming Out Loud”. The band even released a 45 back in the day of the Foster/Strother compositions “Cat and Mouse” and “Cold As That Summer Was.”
Flash forward to 2000, when Rex took up lyric writing again, and finding no musical collaborator, also was forced to pick up the acoustic guitar to write his own melodies. “I figured, if a dumb as ham country singer could play a guitar, I could too.” Rex does not “play out” as he is a shy flower of a man. And no, he does not write funny songs, oddly enough. He recently co-wrote songs with Chris Brunelli (“Storm” and “God And His Friends”), Mary McAdams (“Bubbles”) and Joel Kinser (“Leaving for Good”).
www.TimmyR.com/RexStrother

Day 23: February 21th, 2010
Kate Graves

A poet who also happens to be a songbird, Kate Graves writes little songs....little songs that are raw. She tries to spread them around like wildflower seeds. She likes wildflowers. If she could be a plant, she would be a thistle branch. Her songs are sparse and filled with lots of little words. Often they are written about things like tasting a sweet orange on your lips and wanting to kiss someone, so that they might experience tasting sweet orange on their lips too. Her lovely, raw voice paired with her lyrical prowess create a force to be reckoned with and certainly one to be listened to.
www.TimmyR.com/KateGraves

Day 24: February 22th, 2010
  Danielle Miraglia

A strong steady thumb on an old Gibson guitar is the driving force behind Danielle Miraglia's delta blues influenced guitar style. Add a raw, powerful, whiskey tinged voice and one might be tempted to label her a blues artist. But while Miraglia's style pays homage to these blues traditions, her classic rock verve, catchy melodies and eclectic array of song subjects that range from deeply personal to socially relevant give it an original twist that is all her own.   Selected as a Falcon Ridge 'emerging artist' and Mountain Stage New Song regional winner, Danielle is currently working on the follow up 'Nothing Romantic' when she isn't playing shows around the country.
www.TimmyR.com/DanielleMiraglia

Day 25: February 23th, 2010
Jeff Gaynor

Jeff Gaynor is a musician/songwriter/composer/arranger and producer who has been performing professionally for more than 20 years. His own songs are bluesy, ballsy, with even a little touch of burlesque - and influenced perhaps as much by Spinal Tap and the Muppets as Randy Newman. As part of an ensemble he can either rock out hard or fill in the cracks of a quiet ballad, creating moments and atmosphere that you’ll talk about the next day and remember long after. Jeff can be seen regularly around the Boston music scene playing with the likes of Samantha Farrell and The Baker Thomas Band.
 www.TimmyR.com/JeffGaynor

Day 26: February 24th, 2010
Sierra

SIERRA is a brand-new face in Cambridge’s formidable folk scene, but she is already a force to be reckoned with. Her music is haunting, lilting, graceful, and filled with wisdom. Her story is one of heartbreak, tragedy, triumph, despair, and hope. She has the rare knack of composing simple, unforgettable melodies and marrying them to intelligent lyrics.
She describes herself as “an observer, a focuser… [someone who] actually gives a sh*t.” To be in the same room with Sierra is to feel like you are the only person in her world. Her ability to draw hope from the depths of despair—making those who are along feel less lonely—is what her fans love about her, both as a musician, and a friend.
Her newly-released EP, “Rocks,” features Catie Curtis, Rachael Davis, and Natalia Zukerman.  www.TimmyR.com/Sierra

Day 27: February 25th, 2010
Jenee Halstead

Jenee Halstead arrives with an alto voice that sways gently back and forth between the realms of frailty and strength - part Emmylou Harris, part June Carter, part Patty Griffin. Halstead grew up in the Inland Empire mining country of the West, a singing tomboy with a restless heart. Escaping a collapsed love affair, she left the high desert quiet for the fertile folk environs of Cambridge, Massachusetts quickly taking root at Harvard Square’s Legendary Club Passim. Backed by her nuanced, small-bodied guitar, Halstead draws from the haunting melodies of the Depression Era, patiently distilling folk, bluegrass, and electro to create music that Matt Smith, Club Passim’s longtime manager, describes as “fresh and new, yet familiar and timeless.”
www.TimmyR.com/JenneHalstead

Day 28: February 26th, 2010
Rob Mattson

Rob is first and foremost a performer. Spending 25 years on stage in theater, and 17 years as a playwright has prepared him for life as an acoustic performer. Influenced by other performers such as Ellis Paul, Vance Gilbert and David Wilcox Rob’s songs are literate, funny, touching and occasionally thought provoking. Rob owns the stage the minute he steps on it, and connects with audiences of any age, background or attitude.
www.TimmyR.com/RobMattson

Day 29: February 27th, 2010
Betty Soo

Sometimes, you just need a little shake-up to get things to how they always ought to have been. With her most recent release Heat Sin Water Skin, BettySoo adds some welcome edge and grit to the heartbreaker ballads and bell-pure vocals she's come to be known for. Her previous work has earned multiple her songwriting awards (including Kerrville New Folk, Wildflower Festival, and Big Top Chautauqua Songwriter of the Year) and After her shows, Betty Soo regularly gets greeted with praise comparing her music and vocals to everyone from Ruthie Foster to Sheryl Crow to Joan Baez. When listening to Betty Soo’s music get ready for a good surprise.
www.TimmyR.com/BettySoo

Day 30: February 28th, 2010
Charlene DiCalogero

Charlene DiCalogero doesn't look like a Homeric bard. The puckish singer-songwriter, a veteran of the folk and coffee house scene, seems thoroughly contemporary — not the person you would expect to give voice to the gods, monsters, and storm-tossed heroes of ancient Greece.
But as Homer knew well, appearances can be deceiving. In her first CD "Of Armor and Old Lies" Charlene takes the familiar tales of Odysseus’ ten-year journey home from the Trojan War — the subject of countless adventure films and the bane of many a glassy-eyed college freshman — and recrafts them as dark and witty acoustica.
www.TimmyR.com/CharleneDicalogero

Day 31: March 1st, 2010
Scott Von

Scott Von’s music starts at the place where Jack Johnson turned around and decided it was time to go surfing again. He writes at the crossroads where roots music meets american folk while adding a boot stomping groove and killer guitar work. He show is something not to be missed described as “a pure, unfettered, joyful expression of life.” When Scott takes the stage, people can’t help but pay attention.
www.TimmyR.com/ScottVon

Day 32: March 2nd, 2010
Teresa Storch

Singer/songwriter Teresa Storch is constantly moving, either on stage or in her Pontiac Vibe. She has been releasing albums and touring nationally since 2003, spreading her funky-soulful folk throughout the country. She's now known as a voice and presence not to be missed, with a passion you feel from the audience and a connection that makes you feel like she's known you forever. She'll draw you in with her rich, engaging voice, rhythmic, percussive guitar and writing that has roots in folk, jazz and blues--pulling stories from real-life and taking snapshots of what matters most.
www.TimmyR.com/TeresaStroch
